Q -Do you have a catalog?
A- No, the website is the catalog!  Many of our items are one-of-a-kind, and our stock changes on a regular basis.  That is the beauty of the web!  It would otherwise be impossible to offer a printed catalog and have a constantly changing variety of items.

Q -How much does shipping cost?
A- Shipping charges are based on weight and destination.  Therefore we need to know what you would like to order and where you are located before we can provide you with that information.  Lighter, smaller packages are shipped via regular and Priority US Mail.  Heavier, larger packages are shipped via UPS.  All orders over $100 are also insured.

Q -I live in a foreign country - can you ship an order to me?
A- Yes!  We ship to world-wide. You can link here to see a list of countries we have served. We currently have over 6,000 customers world-wide.

Q -How often do you get new items in?
A- We get new stock about every two weeks, and it's almost always something different.  We notify our customers on our e-mail list as soon as we post new items.  You can see our latest additions to the site on the "What's New" page.

Q -Where are you located?
A- We are located in Portland, Oregon, USA.  Although we do almost all of our business exclusively on the internet, we also have an on-site showroom. Link here to find out about our showroom if you would like to come see us.

Q -I found / have a rock that I would like identified and appraised. Can you do that for me?
A- No, we do not do any identifications or appraisals. We suggest you find someone locally who is qualified to do so.

Q -I am a student doing a project at school. Can you send me a free rock for my project or e-mail me information for my report?
A- No, we cannot accommodate such requests. If we sent free rocks to the hundreds of kids that have asked, we would have no rocks left! If you need information, we recommend the Geological Information Area of the website. We also have a page that lists a bibliography and suggested reading list.
