Tsavorite on Tanzanite from Tanzania. Specializing in natural crystal and minerals specimens from around the world.

TSAVORITE

Composition: a calcium-aluminium garnet, Ca3Al2Si3O12, known as the species grossular. The presence of trace amounts of vanadium or chromium create the green color. Named after Tsavo National Park in Kenya.

Hardness: 7 - 7.5

Location: Tanzania and Kenya, Africa

Metaphysical Properties: Knowledge and eternal love. Knowing oneself. Enhances channeling, visions, psychic communication, and contact with the spiritual world.

Tsavorite specimens on matrix from Tanzania. These little specimens have nicely formed crystals and are considered higher grade material. #TSAV-19 specimens will have a brighter apple-green color and be slightly more gemmy. #TSAV-20 specimens may be more olive in color, more opaque, or not have quite as nice crystal structure.
